Financial services company NewDay wanted to celebrate International Women’s Day and bring to life the 2019 theme, #BalanceForBetter, so they commissioned LEAP to help with their campaign. NewDay wanted to involve their staff to spread the message of gender balance across their workplace as well as via the company’s social media channels.
A LEAP account manager organised a series of photoshoots at NewDay’s London and Leeds offices. Members of NewDay staff each struck the #BalanceforBetter pose for our photographer, and these images were incorporated into social media cards and printed posters.
Within a tight turnaround time, LEAP’s Print and Promotions team undertook the production of the posters as well as large-scale vinyl graphics. We provided our expert installation services outside of normal business hours to minimise disruption as well as create an exciting transformation to greet staff as they returned to their offices on the next working day. We also produced desk drops to encourage staff members to contribute their own statements about International Women’s Day and gender-balance which they could affix to the vinyl wall displays.
The resulting campaign has succeeded in including many members of the NewDay team and the company’s online followers in the celebration of International Women’s Day.
